Ways to Support PCDS

Thank you to everyone who has so generously supported us over the past 60+ years! There are two ways in which we raise money to fund scholarships, capital improvements, teacher enrichment and curriculum projects. They are the Annual Fund and Parents Association events. Current parents and our loyal alumni participate in both. There is no independent school in New York City where the tuition covers all expenses.

The Annual Fund is an unrestricted fund that allows PCDS to recruit and retain the best early childhood educators, provide financial aid to deserving families, ensure the quality of our programs and sustain the operation and maintenance of our school building. The Annual Benefit, organized by our parents, is our largest fundraiser and brings together all the members of our community for one fabulous party and auction. The PA also organizes the Book Fair, Used Clothing & Toy Sales, and the Saturday Morning Pajama Breakfast, all of which are both fundraising and friendraising events.

Park Children’s Day School is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax exempt. We are grateful for donations of any size. Gifts to the 2024-25 Annual Fund include contributions received before June 30, 2025.

Please check with your employer to see if they have a donation-matching program, as you may be able to double your gift to Park Children’s Day School at no extra cost.
