At Park Children's Day School we are reformatting our admissions process due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Applying for 2020-2021
Click here for our application. Applications are accepted after Labor Day. Interested parents may call the school to speak to Patti Horstmann or Fiona Moore in the admissions office. Children must be at least 2.1 years of age by September of their first school year.
We recommend that you return your application promptly. Upon receipt of your application the admissions office will call you to schedule a one-on-one online parent meeting with either Patti or Fiona.
Park Children's Day School will host several Open Houses through Zoom beginning early November.
Park Children's Day School is a member of the Independent School Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) and abides by the Association’s policy on informing parents of admission decisions. We will email notifications to families on Thursday, February 25th. Families must reply with their decision no later than Thursday, March 4th.
The criteria for accepting children are: the parent's belief in the philosophy of the education espoused by the school, suitability of the program for the individual child, and the need of the school to maintain a balance of age, sex and personality types. Siblings are given preference for placement.
Park Children's Day School admits students of any race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin in administration of our educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs and other school programs.
